The fastest way to lock your computer screen is to use the keyboard shortcut Win+L. While some like to use the mouse to lock their workstation, I like to have both options, and I am guessing some of you would too.

So, in today’s edition of our computer repairs blog, I will show you how to easily create a shortcut to lock, Vista, Windows 7 and even Windows XP

Just right click wherever you want the shortcut to be placed โ€“ choose *New* and then *Shortcut*

rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation

Just enter the name you wish to use for the shortcut and click *Finish* – Thatโ€™s all there is to it.
