Lynbrook historical note

Lynbrook is a  suburb of Melbourne located 36 km south-east from the central district of the city. The area it’s under the local government of the city of Casey. According to the 2016 census the suburb had a population of 8,519 inhabitants.

The suburb was setup in 1999 when the Urban Land Corporation attributed lands for it. It was first called “Lynbrook Heights”. The first primary school opened in 2005 and was run-state.
