Is a suburb in the Macarthur Region of Sydney and is under the local government area of Camden Council. It is located 65 kilometers from Sydney’s central business district.
The Bickley Vale area was originally home to the Gandangara people of the Southern Highlands area. Although it also believed that the Muringong people also inhabited the area. Granted 5,000 acres in 1805 at Cowpastures (now known as Camden) was wool pioneer John Macarthur. Bickley Vale is still a rural locality.
