Delahey historical note
Delahey is a suburb of Melbourne located 20 km north-west from the central district of the city. Also, the area it’s under the local government of the City of Brimbak. Furthermore, the suburb had a population of 8,339 inhabitants in 2016.
Farms properties occupied the main part of the territory in the beginning. The Government bought lands in 1980 and built residential blocks. William Delahey named the city after him. The suburb is a home to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
