The residential expansion of the suburb started in 1930s during the depression period. Nowadays you can find lot of schools in the are including primary and secondary levels.
The Kororoit Creek is a good place to observe a large variety of reptile’s species, including Tiger snakes or Eastern Blue-tongued Lizard.
