Bonbeach historical note

Bonbeach is a suburb of Melbourne located 31 km south-east from the CBD of the city. The area it’s under the local government of the City of Kingston. According to the 2016 census the suburb had a population of 6,416.

The first post office opened in 1922 and finally closing in 1985. The Australian rules football team of Bonbeach competing in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League. There are also golf facilities inside the area. One primary school is located in the suburb.
